The four song collection ‘XM’ continues down the path forged by the groups early work, 2008's ‘Dust’ and 2005’s ‘Contact’. However on this record, singer songwriter Toby U-P tackles the writing and recording process alone, laying down tracks at his home studio with some guest guitar by Steve McCormack and production assistance from long term collaborators Bombay Monkey. Both expansive and intimate, these songs explore the themes of departure, infatuation and forbidden love.
